Mission

The Community Counseling Directory will be published to:

• Provide valuable information to those in search of mental health support by offering a comprehensive directory of therapy groups, clinics, counselors, community services, and support resources. This directory will be published in magazine and e-book format, and sent to all within the publication as well as related groups and individuals.

• Gather and publish contact information to assist communications between service providers so that they may better and more easily serve the community and communicate among one another;

Vision

This Community Counseling Guide will create a hub for the many professional individuals and groups who provide much-needed therapy and for a variety of related programs. With updated information and a calendar of events this handy guide will help synergize the effectiveness of the “community recovery movement” throughout Central California.

Your Personal Recovery Plan

This template is found at the back of the Community Counseling Directory. It is an easy-to-use form for clients to build their own self-help recovery program with the help of their counselor or therapist. In this workbook they may take notes from therapists or social workers, and they may use the Counseling Directory to put together their own therapy program. It gives clients something tangible to begin to build their new life.
